Not every copper piece needs to hit the stove. Hanging pots, canisters, planters, lighting, and hardware bring copper's warmth into a kitchen or living space — and this collection covers choosing pieces that age gracefully rather than flake, and deciding whether to let them patina or keep them polished. One line we hold firmly: decorative copper and functional copper are different things. Display pieces can be thin, lacquered, or unlined; anything headed for actual cooking or drinking cannot. We flag which is which in every guide, so a pretty flea-market find never ends up doing a job it wasn't built for.
